Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the COSMODENTAL DESIGNS dental design service. By submitting a case to us, you agree to them.
1. Service
COSMODENTAL DESIGNS provides CAD design work for dental restorations, surgical guides, clear aligners, and related digital dentistry deliverables, based on the prescription you supply. We do not manufacture, fit, or dispense the finished device. See our Compliance page for the manufacturer-of-record position.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide a complete, accurate prescription and clean scan data.
- Confirm the design before manufacture.
- Do not upload identifiable patient data unless clinically necessary — see our Privacy Policy.
3. Turnaround
Turnaround windows begin when we have all files and information required to design the case. Free 3-day standard delivery applies to standard cases; expedited add-ons carry the surcharges listed on the Pricing page.
4. Intellectual property
You own the finished design files on delivery and full payment. We retain the right to use anonymised, non-identifying case metadata (e.g. discipline, turnaround time) for internal quality analysis. We will not publish images or names of your practice or patients without written consent.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are as listed on the Pricing page or as separately quoted. Invoices are due 14 days from issue. Volume-tier rates are calculated on rolling 30-day case volume.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Cases can be cancelled without charge before a designer has started work. Once design is in progress, we charge for the time spent to that point. Full refunds are provided where a defect in our work makes the design unfit for its intended clinical purpose.
7. Liability
Our liability for any case is limited to a refund of the fees paid for that case. We are not the manufacturer of record and do not accept liability for clinical outcomes downstream of manufacture and fit, which remain the responsibility of the commissioning clinician or lab.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
